I just simply have you figured out. You remind me alot of a poster from another message board (Shiva) who makes threads like this giving Losman no credit for any of our success in hopes that it will make everyone pissed off and you walk out the bad guy.

Kind of a sick game.

I said 7-9, and I'll stick by that.

I think we lose the next two, but have a strong foundation from which to build on for next year.

Despite the obvious weakness against the run at times this year, the defense has over-achieved, IMO, especially considering the personel they've had on the field.

You don't usually see a team threaten to achieve a .500 record when one side of the ball is starting three, four, sometimes five rookies.

I think the defensive squad and the coaches deserve a lot of props.

SABS, I fully expect you to live up to this promise... and it better be an honest and forthright anyalysis, not another attempt to dis JP just because you dont want to admitt that you are wrong.

I dont mind you not liking JP, but your analysis better not be a onesided neg on the man.

Im not saying its going to happen and it probably won't. But I'd laugh my ass off if Buffalo drafted an QB with their 1st pick in next years draft. I can already see how bad some of the people on this message board would go off.

Anybody with a brain would go off. Taking a QB would be ignoring other needs to take a position that is no longer a need.

At least you admit it, Saburzfan, all you post is spam. For the record, I predicted Buffalo would finish 7-9 or 8-8. I also predicted that the Bills would start out slow and improve significantly toward the end of the season because A. The Bills in general would become mmore familiar with and more comfortable with the new offensive systems and B. JP Losman would be further along in his learning curve.

No, I don't think that prediction was rocket science. It was IMHO common sense.

Maybe if the D gets the ball back in the first NE game and the Colts game, instead of letting both teams run 6:30 off the clock, maybe we'd be in the playoffs.

I'll give you my opinion of the D at the end of the season.

The Defense is playing pretty good. Although there is still a better need at the Nose Tackle position.


The bills staff has to keep the core of the defense in tact:

1. London Fletcher

2. Nate Clements

3. Takeo Spikes

I really don't know about Spikes - he's been awfully injury proned lately, he could be pretty expensive to keep next year for mediocre at best performance - so the question really is, do we keep him and hope he gets back to his old self - or even 90% of his old self, or do we get younger at the position and draft someone and pay them considerably less and put that saved money elsewhere on the team - like maybe line depth/potential starters?

If we can get our hands on Cato June who plays in a similar system - I'd say bye bye either Fletcher or Spikes - not both since I'm not sure where June plays.

spikes is a weakness on our defense. Love his heart but he isn't going to be 1/2 what he was.

Kinda like Julian Peterson?Petereson is VERY slim exception to the rule. Peterson tore his at age 26 I believe and Spikes at age 29. Peterson is just now getting back up to speed, Spikes will be the end of next year, and going on 32, IF he ever makes it back.

Sorry, time to replace him with someone younger, faster, stronger. It sucks but thats football.
