So what's the scenario we want?

I know I could probably look at the standings and figure it out, but I'm super-lazy, and I'm sure someone has already done the number crunching. What I want to know is, what are the results we want from this weekend's games to best assist the Bills?

(Oh, and just to add to the whole "blackout" debate, I have a pair of season tickets, but I can't go cuz I work in retail and the boss was NEVER gonna let me have the last shopping day before Christmas off!.......Damn!)

    KC over Oakland
    Miami over Jets
Denver over Cincy (although if Cincy wins and KC wins out we still get in)
    NE over Jax
    Buffalo over Ten

Re: So what's the scenario we want?

The most important thing is that the Bills win out. They've got to beat Tennessee this weekend, and then Baltimore New Year's Eve to finish 9-7. The Bills got some help Monday night when the Colts beat the Bengals. That left four teams tied at 8-6, and four teams tied at 7-7 (including the Bills) heading into this weekend's games.

      Current AFC Wildcard Standings:

      wc - Broncos 8-6 (Division: 3-3, AFC: 7-4)
      wc - Bengals 8-6 (Division: 4-1, AFC: 6-4)
      Jaguars 8-6 (Division: 2-4, AFC: 5-5)
      Jets 8-6 (Division: 3-2, AFC: 5-5)
      Bills 7-7 (Division: 3-3, AFC: 5-5)
      Titans 7-7 (Division: 4-2, AFC: 4-6)
      Steelers 7-7 (Division: 2-2, AFC: 4-6)
      Chiefs 7-7 (Division: 3-2, AFC: 3-7)
(NOTE: for the full NFL tiebreaking procedures, click on the link just below to the right.)

In addition to winning out, the Bills need help.
They need to move ahead of three of the four 8-6 teams listed above.
Here are some key scenarios Bills fans should root for this weekend:

The most important game (apart the Bills) is the Fins/Jets game.

I am just amazed that this is all possible. Even if we don't make it, having the ability to talk about the Bills AND playoffs this late in the year is great to do once again.
