The Eastern Conference-leading Buffalo Sabres look for their first victory against the lowly St. Louis Blues in over nine years Saturday when the teams meet for the first time since the 2003-04 season

The Sabres (25-7-2) have lost eight straight to the Blues (9-19-6) and are winless in the last 10 meetings in the series since a 3-1 victory in St. Louis on Oct. 1, 1997. The teams haven't met since the Blues won 5-1 in Buffalo on March 7, 2004.

This season, Buffalo's 52 points lead the East while St. Louis sits in last place in the West with 24 points. The Blues, though, are in the midst of their best stretch of the season under new coach Andy Murray.

I usually have to wait until 1 or 2 in the morning for the NHL to put out the previews because that's when the NHL updates the website after all games are over because of the late games. I was to see the previews out so early.

I'd reccemend dropping their images from your post so they don't trace the offsite traffic back here... and quote it,

and yeah i caught that you only posted the Sabres part, but 1 or 2 paragraphs at max is the best way to do it, trust me, people get flagged and sites get shutdown for copying the entire article, its not that im being mean to you, i just dont want to see you get into any trouble...

You know something I would like to see on the Sabres PP....Put Vanek back on the point. Connolly worked great back there when he was healthy. He is a playmaker and had great vision. Vanek isn't as great a playmaker as Connolly but I think he would do pretty good. What do you think?

I just hope the Sabres show up and play tonight, not like they do against Florida. take it to them, we should win this game tonight! YES the Blues are the worst team in the NHL but they still have Keith Tkchuck and guys that can burn you if your not careful.

Finally... almost game time. Damn 8pm starts... Makes it tough for me to stay awake for the whole game when I've been up since 5:30 and working my ass off all day!

i hate 10 PM starts, i watch the games and goto sleep after updating stats ... most of the games are 7 PM and im asleep by 10:30... lol..

Yes, for a brief period of time they were actually beating us... It seemed quite pathetic at the time. Glad things got turned around though!
