Titan defense hampers Bills
The Titans won yet again as Travis Henry rushed for 89 yards and a score while Chris Hope had two interceptions as Tennessee forced four turnovers overall. J.P. Losman was picked three times, but he still had a chance to pull out a win and was driving the Bills down the field as time ran out before Hope got his second interception of the game to kill the threat.
Both teams returned interceptions for touchdowns in the first half, and the Titans also got a touchdown from Henry and a field goal to lead 17-7 at the break. Buffalo got on the board on its first possession of the third quarter as Losman hit Peerless Price for 35 yards, making it 17-14, but the Titans bounced back for another field goal and got a LenDale White touchdown early in the fourth to move ahead 27-14. Losman and Price connected for a 52-yard score midway through the final period to get the Bills to within six before Hope killed Buffalo's final drive and moved Tennessee over .500.
