It might be Favre's last game, and the Packers still have a shot at the playoffs. Plus it's a big rivalry. The only other game I could think that should have been moved was TEN/NE.

I would have rather seen Tennessee play NE myself. BTW, Favre retiring is not really that big of news anymore. I'm kind of getting tired of hearing about it myself.

i have no prob with this game although the game that would make most sense is the Jets v Oakland because at the end of the day in the AFC it all comes down to if the Jets win or lose so a lot of fans from other AFC teams would watch this

I totally agree. But, this is the NFL. They have to pound every single story into the ground. I was shocked that TEN/NE wasn't the game just because I figured they would want to market VY some more.

The thing w/ a TEN/NE game is that by 8:15 at night, it might not have any playoff implications. If IND, NYJ, and DEN were to win during the day that game would be meaningless. I agree that the NYJ would be a good game to put at night, if they weren't playing the Raiders. That pretty much ruins it.

I kinda figured that had the Bills won last week the Baltimore game would have been moved.

the purpose of there being an extended deadline for NBC to chose a game for this weekend was so they could choose a game that would have huge playoff implications and they didnt do that
