I've been hearing some things about TKO having a $6M roster bonus coming up. Can you shed some light on this?

I am not aware of any $6 million roster bonus for TKO.........missing nearly all of 2005 and part of 2006, I cannot imagine he triggered any "bonus" that would give him that

Can you provide a link?

Here's from Kurupt at bb.com http://boards.buffalobills.com/forums/thread/1443108.aspx

He asked Chris Brown...

My question:
I was perusing the message boards and the topic of Takeo Spikes and an offseason roster bonus keeps coming up. It's been said he's owed a $6 million roster bonus in a few months. I've heard it's guaranteed regardless of whether he's on the team or not. I searched the net and found nothing about this. Do you have any information about this? If it's only due if he's on the team, I would assume they won't be willing to pay for a guy of his age and declining ability.

His answer:
I've heard this from inside the building as well, but in going to a reliable source I heard there is no such roster bonus. I'll double check with another source, but as of right now I don't believe that to be true. Either way I think the Bills are going to take a long hard look at whether or not they're getting their money's worth in light of the limited contributions from Spikes the past two years. He's due to make more than $4.6M in base salary next season. That might be too steep to keep him. There's a good chance Buffalo's entire linebacking corps will be revamped.
