that right there is one of the worst penalty calls ive ever seen a ref make

vanek swiped at the puck and it looked to me like he missed both it and the player he supposedly hooked

Buffalo didn't even play all that well for the majority of the game and still came away with what was essentially an easy win. Miller keeps them in just about every game even if they aren't playing top notch hockey. That'll be key come playoff time!

They mentioned on the broadcast that Max had been having bad back spasms all day long and that limited his shifts and his ability. Still though, a few times you saw him grab a lose puck and just absolutely explode by defenders. He also had 2 assists. If that's not being himself, it's still pretty damn good.
