Taylor's only played a full season twice in his nine years as a Jag, and only topped 300 carries once. I don't think he's worth the money he's looking for, especially considering he's approaching the 'hit-the-wall' point in his career.

If Marv drafts our Future, is Taylor + A-Train+ draft pick such a bad combo if their salaries were reasonable?

agreed- A-train did a great job filling in when McGahee was injured and spelling McGahee at certain points in the game.

If we don't re-sign A-Train, replacing McGahee with Taylor would be a mistake IMO. But the two of them together would make an acceptable backfield.

the NFL off season is VERY long and VERY boring, with the exception of the draft and the first week of FA. I think sometimes people just throw this stuff around to start conversation. There's no harm in discussing hypothetical situations- the harm is when people actually WANT every player who has name recognition to be on our roster.

What good is good if he's injured? He'll be 31 too. He wouldn't be much of an upgrade, and therefore not worth a big contract.

While I don't think McGahee had a great season, he's still a bargain next year. Starting RB is not a need. We can get one more year out of Willis before he bolts, and RB is the most easily replacable position.

i think people are thinking about Taylor from 5 years ago.

                              Hes a shell of himself.

                              waste of money.
My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

                              MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!
