His name is Bryant Gumbel. Not Brian Gumble.

And he sucks at play-by-play. I noticed he said that, as well. Very annoying.

I was shocked neither announcer questioned the Giants bypassing the 2 point conversion afte Tiki's last TD.

With 6 minutes left in the game, a 13 point lead is no better than a 12 point lead. They should have gone for 2 to try and make it a 14 point lead.

He's terrible.

I mute it.

Worse play by play guy i ever heard. My favorates from him were both in the same game, atlanta.

"Vick drops back, he's running, and then throws the ball away." (meanwhile on the play, Vick has thrown the ball into the hands of the DL, and the DL was running the other way, 50 yards for a touchdown, when the DL ends up the in the end zone, Gumble speaks again.) "Touchdown!"

(Vick throws a touchdown pass on 3rd and goal, there is a penalty on the field, the ref announces that it's against the falcons, for illegal formation, Gumble calmly announces the following) "And Vick with a great throw. There is a penalty on the play.... well that penalty won't be very injurious to the Falcons, it will just push back their extra point try 5 yards."

Its clear the man has no idea how football is played, or what the rules are.
