4. Tampa Bay-Gaines Adams
5. Arizona-Leon Hall
6. Washington-Quentin Moses
7. Minnesota-Calvin Johnson -id be shocked to see him fall but the only team that I could see him going to other than Detroit (lmfao) is Tampa Bay but DE will be a bigger need this offseason for them and unless they get Freeney they will pick Adans
8. Houston-LaRon Landry
9. Miami-Alan Branch
10. Atlanta-Reggie Nelson
11. San Francisco-Darrelle Revis
12. Buffalo-Lawrence Timmons OLB FSU- 'Puz' is great but I could definetly see this guy stepping ahead of him on draft day

I made this pretty quick, so any suggestions and things that you think would make this draft more realistic would be appreciated.

Here is my understanding of the rules for determining draft order:

• The team with the lowest winning percentage at the end of the previous season drafts first in the NFL Draft.

• The rest of the teams are placed in order from lowest winning percentage to the highest.

• The Super Bowl winner drafts last, even if they do not have the highest winning percentage.

• The Super Bowl loser drafts next to last.

• Strength of schedule for the previous season is the first tie-breaker for teams with the same winning percentage.

• Divisional and conference records are the next step in the tie-breaking procedure.

• As a last resort, a coin toss is used to determine the order of selection for teams with the same winning percentage.

• If a playoff and non-playoff team end the season with the same winning percentage, the non-playoff team selects before the playoff team regardless of strength of schedule.

I think this is the updated order:

The Broncos don't jump ahead of the Giants?

No, because the Giants had a worse record. If they had the same record, they would have.

If the Giants make the Super Bowl, Denver (and everyone else) moves up one because the Giants will have one of the last two picks (depending on whether they win or not).

ESPN confirms the draft order (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2715578) today.

OL- NO, flat out NO. We dont need a OT, especially LT, and thats all thats worthy of the 12 pick. G? never in a zillion years that high.

DL- Branch? Im watching him now and hes a great player, maybe the next John Henderson. Adams? Hell ya, Moses? Hell ya.

Im pretty convinced it wont be either though, I think we go after a playmaker at CB, WR, RB maybe LB

Our offense was 28th passing and 27th rushing because our oline could not protect nor open holes.

Our defense was 28th against the run because we couldn't stuff it.

The lines need to be fixed at all costs. Anything less and we'll never get to the dance.

Ohh, I dont disagree, Ive been saying that all along. But, your post is more what you think we should do and not so much what we are likely to do.

If your a fan of making the lines our #1 priority, you should also be rooting for resigning Clements and Fletch. Because if one or both leave, THOSE positions go to the top of the pecking order. A D minded coach wont lose his top tackler, and/or a shutdown corner and then skip it in round 1 for a OT, that Jauron wont think we need, or a rotational DL.

Thats why the 1st rounder is so important to us. Jauron drafted Pennington and moved Peters to LT. Neither is going to be replaced, IMO. Although Id like Branch, I cant see Dick spending yet another 1st rounder on a DT. If kelsay leaves, I could see a DE, and thats possible.

We have to look at it from Dicks point of view, not ours. I cane see replacing Duke/Villarial for sure. After that, Fowler may or may not go and Gandy may or may not go.

By the way, my post was what I wanted not what I think we will do.

The Broncos don't jump ahead of the Giants?

they don't for one reason.

record is always 1st determiner for draft position.

If both the giants and broncos had the same record the Broncos would draft ahead of them because the 2nd consideration is playoffs.

The only way the Broncos will draft ahead of the giants is if the Giants go to the super bowl.

Its an understandable mistake to make, since its normally rare that a playoff team has a worse record then a non-playoff team.

Bills could go OL/DL/LB/CB/WR in round 1.........LB is not a lock

records dont mean squat.. we had the hardest schedule and duked it out in almost all of the games since the bye... and we know our team is a little better than the draft position shows so for us we win in this situation because we get to pick before some other bad teams (rams, tho i hate to say it, carolina even)

Damn...somebody beat me to it...not the player but the position...the Bills first pick, as it stands now imo, will be LB.

Unless they trade down or Glenn Dorsey of LSU comes out as a junior.

Unlike Alan Branch of Michigan, Dorsey is a true 1-gap DT and a monster who has played in this same defensive system in college (with Kyle Williams BTW). Branch is a 3-gap DT (if you notice, Terrance Taylor plays on the center for the Michigan D) and the Bills already have 3 guys on their roster who can play the 3-gap spot: Tripplett, McCargo and Hargrove. What the Bills need is an true 1-gap DT who has speed and quickness, pass-rushing ability and the ability to hold his ground against the double team. Watch Dorsey against ND in his bowl game--he absolutely manhandled Tennessee's offensive line and Auburn's as well.

If the Bills do not surprise by picking an offensive playmaker (D.Jarrett of USC or T.Ginn, Jr.)--which I doubt they will do, but would not put past them--or a D-lineman, it is possible that they could trade down out of the 12th spot and pick up a LB later in the 1st round.

If the Bills do take a LB, do not dismiss P.Willis or Earl Everett or Rufus Alexander as possibilities: based on preliminary info, Willis is by far the fastest ILB at the top of the draft, Everett is the fastest OLB, followed by Alexander--who is extremely productive (as is Posluzny, who is slower). Speed is extremely important from the LBs in the Tampa 2 defense and could be a factor in determining how the Bills rate their prospects (remember, it was a big factor in their decision to go with Whitner last year).

P.S.: Did you see Posluzny and Alexander in their bowl games? Posluzny was good, but Alexander was everywhere. Also, I really don't care what Jarrett's times are at the Combine--the guy is a heck of a WR. And, please do not tell me about Jake Long--he got owned by Ohio St. and was beaten like a drum by the USC DEs. Joe Thomas of Wisc. is the only OT I've seen this year who is worth a 1st round pick and he will be long gone by the 12th pick (Clary, the Boise St. LT was really good--much better than I expected--against Okla.).

All I can say is that unless the next coming of Ray Lewis is available, I don't want to draft an LB with our first pick. Shop FA for one.
