All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Forked Thread: 2007 NFL Draft order - Buffalo had hardest schedule in the league...
just goes to show the Bills luck...funny the playoff teams all had a pretty cupcake schedule...combine that with our schedule next year and somehow it seems the football Gods just don't like us.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.

well it doesnt help that the AFC east was rather strong, as compared to other divisions throughout..... y'all go against denver who is 9-7 this year, and finished 3rd because of divisional record........ and also against the jacksonville i believe outta the south with us in the east playing the afc north next year.......
combine that with the fact that you had baltimore at 13-3 this year, cincy at 8-8, pitt at 8-8, and cleveland which played better than its record most of the time.......
and in the NFC next year we play the east which has 3 playoff teams (9-7 philly/dallas/8-8 NYG)
looks like the jets will have a similar fate, as well as having to play KC and tenessee next year
what can you say, with the exception of oakland...... the AFC from top to bottom is just a scarily good conference...........
thats kinda the luck/pitfall of 12 games in the conference.
im kinda liking NE's schedule next year........... san diego, indy, AFC North, NFC east, 6xAFCeast
next year is the year to make the move!
j-e-t-s
jets jets jets (insert suck for those who aren't gangreen fans)

I brought this up before we played SD and we we're #2 at that point and it only got worse. It's tough to make the playoffs while playing the hardest teams in the league, week in and week out.

If Buffalo had won a couple of games that they should have, the opponents winning percentage would be lower.
let's face it...if they don't crap the bed against Detroit (a collective team lack of effort) and the defense doesn't allow Tenn back to win we are all singing a different tune today.

You become the best by playing the best.
I hope its as hard next year too.
Great quote. This should only help JP prepare for next year. Look at the AFC playoff teams in the order they finished: San Diego, Baltimore, Indy, New England, Jets, Kansas City. With the exception of Kansas City, we played the other teams a total of 7 times, and we played the #1 seed in the NFC. Jacksonville also has a pretty good D, and for as bad as the Dolphins played against us, they have a really good defense too. We're not gonna face better defenses than the ones we faced this year, so that should only work in our favor in the future.
