Fans only vote the starters. The rest are picked by the coaches I believe.

Ha... Briere and Ovechkin will be starting the game together... something tells me that line will be split up immediately afterwards!

I think I heard them say on WGR that it would be league officials...but I could be mistaken
Oh, and not to be a downer...cause odds are the voting trends didn't change...but those totals aren't up-to-date by any means

Candidates for the starting lineup for both teams include (with voting totals through Dec. 20): http://www.dallasstars.com/fancenter/allstarcentral-events.jsp

Lindy wouldn't put Ovechkin on the same line. He knows that Briere and Ovechkin don't get together. In matter of fact Lindy could be bringing more Sabres with him besides Briere, Campbell, Miller perhaps maybe Afinogenov, Drury, Tallinder (if he's not hurt again) Vanek. etc.

I don't think there would really be much animosity between the two. You might have to keep Brown away from Ovechkin but I think Briere would be fine after he ****s his G/F in the butt.

Briere already said he'll make nice with A.O.

Briere should play with Ovechkin since they will be on the same team next year. J/K

I'm sure Briere and A.O. will be fine at the all-star game. They will shake hands and it will be business as usual.
