    Bills vs. AFC playoff teams

At first glance, the record vs. these team absolutely sucks at 1-6. If looking for some positive, however, few of these games were blowouts. I loved the 4th qtr excitement this year, but this team needs to learn to build a lead and not let up if they want a spot in the tournament next year. These losses were lost by an average of 8 pts. and that includes the game where NE spanked them. The rest would average under a TD per. The Bills need to learn how to play with the big guys next year, and that means not needing comebacks. These games tell me that they can get there, but there is definitely work to do. Get on it Marv!

Sept. 10 at New England Patriots L, 17-19 (-1 pt)

    Sept. 24 NEW YORK JETS L, 20-28 (-8 pts)

    Oct. 22 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS L, 6-28 (-22 pts)

    Nov. 12 at Indianapolis Colts L, 16-17 (-1 pt)

    Dec. 3 SAN DIEGO CHARGERS L, 21-24 (-3 pts)

Dec. 10 at New York Jets W, 31-13 (+18 pts)

    Dec. 31 at Baltimore Ravens L, 7-19 (-12 pts)

I think this is the way you have to look at it. Was there alot of disappointment, yeah. But, unlike with Mularky when bad things happened the Bills didn't fold up tent and quit.

That, in and of itself, is a reason to be optimistic.

I think this just proves the merits of the "salary cap parity" argument.
