Deserving..I may be a Phin hater but i'm not a blind hater..JT is the 2nd best defensive player this year.. But i agree with JT that Merriman cheated, or whatnot.. JT is a game changing beast.. I love Schobel though.. And i would never trade but JT is a nightmare for defenses...Esp in teh division... Man did Jonas Jennings OWN JT though!!!

jason taylor deserved it, and for what its worth, i really hope he does leave miami...... he is a player who yeah, can get aggrivating very quickly but he's a player i'd love to have on my team.

merriman, yeah statistically the "best" player, as far as sacks go, but when they played those games without mr. sharpie, they were just as good, defensive POY is for a player so special that they literally would crumble with out them.... and in miami's case...... they would have finished worse if not for 99

a> he was clean where as merriman wasnt/merriman didnt play 4 games, taylor took a full load

b> taylor meant more to his team than merriman.... in the games merriman was out, they still basically were the same

I just don't like anything about the Dolphins at all. I hope they have a horrible season every year and when we knocked them out of the playoffs mathematically, it was a victory for our season.
