I think the premise is flawed.

We're not a large city.

We're kind like a big town.

No way Chicago is last. It's one of the cleanest cities I've ever been to. Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Detroit are all way worse than Chicago.

Baltimore used to be horrible but they've cleaned up a bit lately. I've been to Chicago and I agree with the rankings it was given. That place was a dump.

Baltimore is a pit. I can't imagine a dirtier place except for maybe Cleveland.

How can you take Reader's Digest seriously anyway? It's just the mag that everyone reads while they're on the can.

Philly is a pit.

As is Tampa.

Baltimore's not so bad.

DC is nice around the monuments. Drive past the Capitol building and it resembles Newark.

Well I guess it really depends on which part of the city you visit. The odd thing about Baltimore is that in one area it's cleaned up and then a block away it's a total dump. I guess it's like that with any larger city though.

The cleanest city, IMO, that I have ever visited was Providence, RI.

I always thought a good idea for the area would be those speed trains they have in Japan. Those babies can go upwards of 300 MPH.

Much like the Erie Canal connected Buffalo to NYC, The speed train would do the same.

We run it from the Central Terminal right to Grand Central Station.

Buffalo to NYC in a little over an hour.

You can have an express that goes straight to NYC and another with stops in Rochester, Syracuse and Albany.

People in NYC could even live over this way because the commute on the train will almost be shorter then some of their normal commutes. Imagine living in a Downtown Buffalo Mansion for $200,000 and making a small fortune working in the NYC.

Also, people heading to NY and looking to avoid delays at the major NYC airports could fly into Buffalo and take the train into the city.

People in Buffalo could take the train to sporting events, shopping and the theater. People (I know to a lesser extent) could come to Buffalo for the same.

I think it would be very cool.
