Ricky Williams seeking return to NFL, Dolphins

MIAMI -- Ricky Williams, who is serving a year suspension from the NFL for violating its substance abuse policy, has passed all his drug tests and intends to apply for readmission to the NFL in April, his agent said Thursday.

Williams, who spent his year of exile with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL, had a strong relationship with former Dolphins coach Nick Saban. But despite Saban's departure to Alabama, Williams intends to return to the Dolphins, said his agent, Leigh Steinberg.

    More.

"God knows about No. 34, but if he comes back, you win three or four more games if the guy is playing, I'm telling you," Saban said Thursday. "He's got a presence."

Well, if Saban thinks it's true, then it must be! This would only add more controversy to the Dolphins clubhouse. I hope he comes back, but with the Bills luck though, he'd probably run all over us.

At this point I think Ronnie Brown's probably a better back anyway. But Ricky could be a nice insurance policy/rotational guy. I think the fish probably would have rather had him in there than Sammy Morris for the game against us.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

I don't care who they have at rb as long as they keep Mooolarkey as a HC.

The Dolphins might as well kick themselves in their behind if they let this moron back.

Guys you have to remember that because he testing positive he is scheduled to make the vet minimum, the guy that wrote that thing is an idiot but it works just fine for the Fins. For that kind of money sign me up. He wont be the feature back anyway so if he does test positive again at some point its not like it would be a crushing blow to the franchise.

I'm willing to make a bet(s) that if he comes back next season for the dolphins he doesn't fail another drug test. I expect takers since some here are to sure he's a shoe in to flunk again.

He's still a weirdo, but he seems to be having a bit more control over his weirdness. I think since he's been doing all of his zen yoga stuff, that the wacky tobacky isn't a part of the regimen, so he's long done away with the stuff. I'll welcome him back, because he helps make a pretty good back in Ronnie Brown an even better back, with the old 1-2 punch set up. IMO I though they were a pretty good tandem. I guess we'll see what happens.

Besides, Ricky loves running all over the Bills.

Remember the game he had around 240 yards rushing?

                            I do. It was great!
