Talks about how much heart he has and the respect that he EARNED from his teamates this year. I like that he had to earn the respect, and it wasn't just given to him like other first round QBs.

They called Flutie a field general too.

Losman = Flutie 2000.

I thought they called Flutie a Major Jerk?

I was at the game and almost lost my lunch over that interception. After JP wrestled him to the ground, I stood up and cheered. Ravens fans probably thought I was crazy but who the h*ll cared at that point? Nice read!

I watched the replay yesterday, just so I could see that tackle again. :up:

Anyone remember the DB that intercepted the ball against Kelly in the end zone and as he ran it out, Kelly tackled the guy and shattered the guy's leg? I think the team was the Falcons. I wish JP would have done that.

off the field, yeah, but one can't deny that we had a winning record w/him under center.

You asses that groaned me - I wasn't knocking Losman - I was just merely pointing out that he's turning into a Flutie-esque QB but with a stronger arm (hence the 2000 after wards - usually a wierd number applied to something that is supposed to be better/more advanced/newer etc...).

He's learning to manage games, and has a scrambling ability - I can't wait to see him starting to play streetball like Flutie pretty much did.

Darn Good Article!

This is the best I have felt about the QB position in the offseason in along time.
Looking forward to seeing JP play even better next year.

He almost lost me after his last article - about our pass rush being a primary problem.. huh?! - this one was good stuff.

I didn't see that article, but our pass rush wasn't as consistent as I'd have liked to see it - we were pretty much invisible against the colts and the first Jets game - after we were dominant against the fins in Week 2.

I wish JP would have done that.Yep...Anthony Phillips was the name. He was a pretty solid DB at the time...and up-and-comer in the NFL. He was never the same after that hit from Kelly
