For one of the few times on the road, everything went right for the Toronto Maple Leafs in their last game. For one of the few times all season, the Buffalo Sabres are trying to snap out of a funk.

The two Northeast Division rivals enter their game Saturday at the Air Canada Centre with one team looking to sustain its momentum and the other trying to regain it.

The Maple Leafs (19-17-6) put together their most complete road game of the season with a 10-2 thrashing of the Boston Bruins on Thursday to complete a home-and-home sweep. Alexander Steen, who had just 10 points in his first 41 games, had his first career hat trick and added two assists for a career-high five-point game as the Maple Leafs scored nine unanswered goals in the final two periods.

As I already stated, Center Ice had the CBC feed tonight. I was actually impressed by the announcers... they were very unbiased and even mentioned that a few calls against the Sabres seemed to be phantom penalties. The one Numminen took in the 3rd was a joke, the guy leaned on him and then fell down and they called Teppo for holding or some crap!


Oh well, Sabres win anyways... I told you we wouldn't lose 3 in a row!

Laux in the Eastern Hills Mall had a blue and gold hat by New Era with the original logo on it but none with the new logo on it now that says something that people DO like the new logo compared to the old logo. :dance: I was at the game last night and I saw more people in the stands and walking around wearing the new stuff with the new logo on it. Than rather the old logo. Also The Sabres store last night had a one small original 3rd jersey (authentic) that's the only way you can buy them. Plain they go for $250 with name and # they sell for $450-500. while the replicas on the new jerseys with name and # go for $155 the blank authentics go for $300 and the Authentics with name and # go for $350.

I done *****ing about the ref's when we play the Leafs. It is a fore gone conclusions that we are going to get screwed by the refs when we play the Leafs, especially in Toronto. What a ****ing joke. The Leafs were CONSTANTLY interferring with the Sabres before they got to pucks. Don't you have to touch the puck before the player can hit you? It was un****ing believable tonight. The Sabres speed was hindered greatly by the Leafs constant interference. It was a joke.

not last night, I was talking about the Pittsburgh game on Fri. night when Pittsburgh was here @ the HSBC Arena I was there and there were more people wearing the new stuff with the logo in the stands and walking in the hallways. After the Penguins scored with 2 sec. left to make it 3-2 the arena started chanting Kansas City :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: it was sooooo hilarious.
