I thought of this the other day and re-read it this morning:

The improving Bills figure to make the Monday Night Football schedule for the first time since 2000. General manager Marv Levy says he'd prefer to have every game at 1 p.m. on Sundays but recognizes that playing on Monday nights is a pride factor for the team's fans and a sign that the franchise is on the upgrade.

With JP and Lee hooking up consistency, the big plays will look great on TV.

I think the TV schedulers will have more confidence that this is the norm rather than previous exception and will want to have at least one game

Why do you want a Monday night game? The big matchup is the Sunday Night Games now. :D

Monday night is still special being the only game of the day.

I see that happening in a couple of ways
Saturday night football on NFL Network
Sunday Night Football late in the season when we start off well

Hasn't anyone seen how the Bills have been performing during the limelight? Gimme 1:00 pm Sundays all season, I'm with Marv.

MNF won't be at home..while Ralph is alive, you can bank on it

I don't know what you're reading, but it doesn't state anywhere in that article that the Bills WILL BE on Monday Night Football. Relax...

No it won't, especially how all those idiot behaved last time we had a night game at the Ralph. I still stand by my point that the Ralph is one of the worst places to see an NFL game.

We have the hardest schedule as of right now, so let's keep our fingers crossed

No it won't, especially how all those idiot behaved last time we had a night game at the Ralph. It's more because of the fact that our fanbase is so spread out...Ralph's lobbied against home MNF games in Buffalo for a decade. I'm sure there's just as many idiots at other stadiums at night games
I still stand by my point that the Ralph is one of the worst places to see an NFL game.Matter of opinion...only thing that sucks is when the wind is blowing and it hits me right in the face :laughter: I couldn't even watch the game a chunk of the time when we played the Pats in 2000...it was blowing that bad.

I think RW goes to bed at 8:00 pm is more accurate.

Ralph won't allow it, because people from Syracuse, Rochester and out of state have to drive home and they get home late and have to work the next day and with people drinking the Bills are just trying to keep the fans safe. That's why we'll never have a night game at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

The Bills do not deserve a primetime game.

They were 7-9
Beat one team with a winning record
Have perhaps only one player (McGahee) that has some star recognition
The blackouts do not help the idea of the Bills having a great following even though that is not really the case

I was thinking the same thing. Will not be a home game.
Maybe we will get a NBC game or a NFL Network home game.

we'd better get one christ how many times did we see oakland in primetime this year get their asses kicked? while we arent the best team to play nationally on tv the past couple of years I'm always excited to look forward to being able to watch a game on tv which is almost never..

Oakland makes it because of their audience size, not because of record.

Look, the only night game were going to get is in the pre-season! unless it's on the road Ralph Wilson doesn't want home night games.

I hate the idea of NFL being on a Saturday (day or night).

I hate the idea of a Monday Night game.

I'm not excited about a Sunday Night game.

There's a chance I'll be moving closer to Buffalo in a few months. A Sunday or Monday night game could be very makeable for me if it is at home.

Ralph went on the record saying that while he would prefer not to have these games he would not object any more.
