Dolphins don't offer Pete Carrol HC position. Mike Martz in for Interview...

Dolphins | Martz to interview for head coaching position Thursday
    Tue, 9 Jan 2007 21:45:37 -0800
Harvey Fialkov and Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Mike Martz will interview for the Miami Dolphins' head coaching position Thursday, Jan. 11, according to a source.

Dolphins | Carroll intrigued by Huizenga's ideas, but committed to USC
    Tue, 9 Jan 2007 21:15:33 -0800
The Associated Press reports Southern California head coach Pete Carroll seemed intrigued by the ideas of Miami Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga, but said he is committed to staying at USC. Carroll said he met with Huizenga for about four hours in Costa Rica over the weekend. Carroll said, "This was the one instance I've come in contact with that has all the elements I have talked about. [Huizenga] has structured a program where the head coach has the entire say, from top to bottom. It's a one-voice program. I don't think there are any other situations like that in the NFL." Carroll said he was not offered the Miami coaching job.

Carroll is "committed" to USC, huh? I wonder how committed he would be if he was actually offered the job. What an ass- he's talking out of both sides of his mouth. He makes it sound like Miami is such an ideal situation- either he's BS'ing about that, or he's BS'ing about being committed to USC because he wasn't actually given the opportunity to leave.

"will you take the job if I offer it to you?"

          "no, I need more money"

          ...

"I was never offered the job"

Just imagine if Martz gets the job, Dolphins playing in Buffalo in the snow of Dec passing the ball 30+ times!

So the Dolphins would have Martz and Mularkey running the show?

If MArtz get's hired, we should trade for Ronnie brown and give them WIllis since Martz doesn't use rb's. Willis will be home with his babby momma's .Everyone's happy.

If Martz is hired, Mularkey gets canned. You can guarantee that. They have two different ideas of how the offense should be run, that's for sure.

Too bad Christmas is over! I should have asked Santa for this instead of a new pony.

                            Martz sucks.

He would be perfect for the fish, lol.

Martz is a good offensive coach. But he'd bring a whole new level of dysfunction to that franchise. I love it.

Is Mike Sherman still coaching the offensive line or whatever in Houston?
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?
