This is pretty interesting. It just goes to show that the stats don't always tell the whole story. In Detroit, the Bills played a team they should have beaten, and J.P. played pretty badly for 3 quarters then got his stats int he 4th quarter when the Bills were playing to a bend but don't break defense.

While Losman didn't play his finest games of the season against Jax, SD, and Ten, he was very game against good teams and was a large part of why the Bills were in the game, as opposed to early in the season and last year when he was basically playing to not blow the game.

Overall of course, Losman made huge strides from last season and his inconsistent play the first half of this season. It's just interesting to look at his play per game.

In my opinion, this tells me that the line changes made in the BYE week improved the overall production of the pass offense. Just as well as it tells me that even with the amount of free rope Losman was given by the coaching staff, he used to the best of his ability rather then hanging himself with it.

If you look at McGahee's stats throughout the year, they're just as inconsistant in the 1st half as they are the 2nd. Rolling 5YC in one game and 2 or less the following. This tells me that while McGahee has the "potential" of becoming a feature back, he clearly can't carry the load himself. The interior line has to be addressed in the off season and really like to see the Bills use a second RB for more of a one - two punch.

I certainly have high hopes for 2007.

Indeed, if we had a dependable running game, the game wouldn't be placed on JPs shoulders to win it for us. That could be 3 wins right there.

The best offense is a good defense..

I'd continue working HARDCORE on our defense, it will translate into more opportunites for the Offense..

I'd resign Gandy, and find a new RG and live with what I got.. a 2nd WR would be nice too, if the price is right.

I think Preston will be fine at RG. I like the guy.

I thought he kicked ass after the bye week. It felt nice going into the games not worrying about poor QB play.
