He won't last until our pick. He's coming off an injury. And this is the wrong forum.

If you were a mod, you could move it yourself.

If he is on the board make it happen Marv.

If I were a MOD I could move this myself!

Ice would like that pick.

You wouldn't?

If we can sign a guard like Steinbach and CB replacement for Nate what else do we really need in round 1?

TacklingDummy
01-11-2007, 09:26 AM
Nope. RB is not a issue for the Bills to be wasting their first pick on. If the Bills picked a rb in round 3 I wouldn't care.

DT, LB, DE

When we trade Willis RB will be a priority.

Worry about that when it never happens.

Now there's a good MOD.

I can't see how some people want to be MODs when they can't even start a thread in the correct forum.

Why create a need that does not exist?

Here's a top RB projected in the 10-15 range by most. 5-11 217 and has a complete game.

I wouldn't mind this pick at all actually..

Why not upgrade at a position where we have an average player who doesnt' want to be here?

There is a ZERO percent chance Peterson lasts until pick 12...

IF hypothetically the Bills were going to take a RB, Lynch (Cal), Bush (louisville) could both be there at 12.

Darius Walker (Notre Dame) is coming out too now.. I think thats a HUGE mistake.

Sure, we all have seen what the effects are of having a great RB does and the wonders it does for a QB.. Just look at SD and KC.

No running backs in the first round!

I want Michael Turner and I would have no problem giving up a draft pick for him.

IF we trade Willis

Philagape
01-11-2007, 09:56 AM
Why not?

Because we have bigger needs.
Because you don't have to be a first-round RB to produce (see Gore, Jones-Drew, Westbrook, Parker, etc.)
Because if we make the line better and keep the defense honest with our vertical passing game, we can plug in anyone back there.

Because we already got a pretty good back in A-Train and can bring back Lionel Gates if we want.

It's been said that Michael Bush could last till the second round.. Imagine this..

--- Trade down a couple of spots pick up a 3rd ----
1st.) Paul Posluzny, LB PSU
2nd.) Michael Bush, RB Lousiville
3rd a.) Doug Free, OT Northern Illinois
3rd b.) Marcus Thomas, DT Florida

Probably too early for this but hell, why not?

I think we should just hold on to Willis until his contract is up, and the Franchise Tag him, and then trade him, and then watch us get another player, and willis back a few years down the road (a la Peerless to falcons for Willis).

Atrain as a solid backup sure!!!

You take one of the top 2-3 players left on the board and do not reach for a need beyond their value.

I don't see a MLB worth the #12 pick. I do see some solid ones in Rounds 2-3.

If The Bills have doubts about Willis McGahee, they will try and do something about it in March. If they fail, I'm not sure they will settle for a middle round roll of the dice. Too much at stake this year to win.

That's why trading down in the 1st round to snatch a LB makes perfect sense.

If I read this board right there are about 20 guys going in the top 10. WTF
