    Thanks to FeelThePain....

    I did some research...

    Before the bye week:

    2 Wins / 5 Losses

Offense scored an average of 14 points per game.

Defense allowed an average of 22 points per game.

    After the bye week:

    5 Wins / 4 Losses

Offense scored an average of 22 points per game.

Defense allowed an average of 14 points per game.

Although it didn't necessarly translate into wins, we did a 180 after Jauron shuffled the O-line.

Hey! Keep facts out of this argument.

FTP is basing his argument solely on what was done the first half of the season and that is that.

      Fins suck btw.

The research is actually slightly flawed, as for the pre-bye week numbers.

You've included scores by the opponents defense with points against, and Buffalo's defensive scores as points for the offense. It makes the defense look worse and the offense look better than actual.

The average rank of the scoring D we faced prior to the bye week was 9th. The average after it was 14th. Could have something to do with it.

How do you explain the fact that we ran the fewest offensive plays in the league?

well....most drives that end with a pass play of say...83 yards...tend to involve few plays

Uh ohhh, look out jamze132 someone might actually show you the facts and ruin your day!!

BTW, I'll use your theory for the fins,

Miami was 2-6 before their bye and 4-4 after, we must have be an improving team!! With MM, Joey Harrington and Sammy Morris!!! We finish with the 4th best D in the league and 20th ranked O in the league, compared to the Bills 27th ranked passing game 28th ranked running game and 27th ranked run D, so who's really improving?

Yes, which begs the question "how many TD drives do we have with more than say 4 or 5 plays?"

Secondly, how many times in a season is it reasonable to expect a team to go deep for a TD? How did we do this year compared to that standard?

This is also why the Bills O was ranked 27th in the lague this year, just because you throw the ball deep well, doesn't mean you're a good O. You need to be efficent, control the clock with both the pass and run to be a good O.

Your doing great without a coach and with MM and the lemon at the offensive helm I think your future is quite certain, certainly bad.

How can you even compare Miami & Buffalo? The Bills handed your team it's Azz twice, it wasn't even close.

damn, some of us have been saying that since 2002 when Kevin Gilbride was our OC. Maybe the Bills' FO will eventually listen.
