I don't want to hear anyone complain about Bledsoe again. We're paying this guy less than Jake Plummer is now making in Denver.

Who in their right mind would complain about Bledsoe...oh wait, nevermind. I know who would. :D

I will never complain about Drew, but you know Jake the Snake is WELL overpaid in Denver. They're buying nothing but potential. Does that sound familiar???

Well, you forgot, that maybe when Denver was putting together their offer, they threw out all the incomplete passes and INTs and only counted the completions and TDs.

It doesnt matter what theyre paying him on, it still counts against the cap. Poor Denver.

The hillbilly broncos would.

There rumored to be a little too close to their cousins.

- Actually that was an understatement.

The Broncos who look at Plummer's stats and think, oh we can take out these stats and skew them to look exactly what we like to think, which reminds me of someone on this board. Well, let's take out Plummer's INTs and Incompletions, and count his TD passes.

I wonder how many people would rather have Plummer over Bledsoe right now?

Is Bledsoe still a bargain at 8+ million a year?

I gotta ask- where do you pull these numbers out?

13 million one season, 8 million the next- Our cap page indicates he made $5.4 million this season, no bonus (Pats took that cap hit) and he's projected for around 6 million in Salary next season.

Hey- whatever Bledsoe rant you want too take is fine with me- but please at least be accurate about it.

Umm, the 8+ million is what the average would be if we pick up the option next year.

If we don't pick up the option he will get a 2 million dollar bonus which would make it 8 million.

If we picked up the option he would make 13 million dollars with his salary and bonus next year.

What part of them numbers don't you understand?

Well- thanks for clarifying that.

But to put next year's salary in a thread posted last year is very misleading. I read it as if he were making $8 million at the time of the post.

I was wrong. Bledsoe has gone so incredibly far downhill.

At the time, I was setting the record straight when some people wanted to cut him to "save $10mil on our cap", which obviously wouldn't have happened.

I like Plummer. :D
