you know, hockey gets no love.... it's the friggin middle of the day here. The only thing on is daytime soaps and 20 year old movies, but no one is picking up the game locally. I think we have a classic "chicken or the egg" problem- hockey doesn't get exposure because they say there aren't enough fans to make money off of it, but how do they expect to gain fans without exposure?

A 1 pm game on a day when a lot of people aren't working and nothing but garbage on TV sounds like the perfect time to showcase cheaply. But instead, I'll have to bust out the XM and the internet feed.

Novotny was the best player on the ice. Chara got his ass handed to him most of the day. The only thing he is good at is his usual crosschecking after the whistle with the refs letting him get away with it. The big giraffe looking piece of ****.

Mikey ~ I thought the ice was pretty good. At least a lot better than Buffalo. Hecht would have never score if he was in Buffalo. That puck would have settled like it did.
