The only reason he came back this last time was because he got cleaned out by a divorce while he was in broadcasting and he realized that he might have to have one last ditch effort in him for coaching (and most importantly, money) so when he put feelers out, Jerry Jones offered him big money, so he took the paycheck for a couple years. He doesn't need it now, and didn't need it after the Jets, until he had gotten divorced.

Tom Coughlin might get fired next year, even though he signed the extension. Parcells will have a year off and "recharge". He'll be the next head coach of the NY Giants.
