i think parcells is a little overrated.

i mean he did good things in New York over a decade ago, but not much since then. He did seem to birth a whole litter of good coaches in this league, but he hasn't done anything himself worth nothing in years.

hasn't even won a playoff game since 1998.

I've never had any animosity towards Bill Parcells, great coach and real fun to watch in press conferences. I hate New England however, and it's great to finally see the Patriots lose for a change.

What a dumb poll. Parcells leaving is NOTHING compared to the New England Patriots choking and blowing an 18-point lead and getting knocked out of the playoffs. :shakeno:

I actually always will have a soft spot for Parcells, since he basicaly saved the Patriots. He took over after the whole Victor Kiam/Sam Jankovich/Zeke Mowatt embarrassment of an era and brought credability to a team that was the laughingstock of the NFL.

James Busch Orthwein bought the team in order to move it to St. Louis in a couple years, but Parcells (and Bledsoe) got people excited about the team and they began selling out games.

In the end, Kraft put together a great offer and the team ended up staying, but if not for Parcells making them competitive again that never would have happened. They would have been the St. Louis Patriots or God-knows-what.
