Does anyone know if Vanek is the leading scorer for the season of all the YoungStars? It seems like he would be since he could have just as easily been in the all star game.

They didn't get any extra players for the skills. Only the all stars are in the skills, so all the Sabres are doing someting.

got home and rewound the DVR, so far the east Youngstars are "Cherry Picking" lol.. keeping a forward in the center ice.. lol.


Vanek is showing no defensive effort at all though... give aways, quitting on back checking plays etc...

None of the kids are doing those things. They were all just coasting along. Thats all I would expect out of that format.

He is 7 and 2 in shootouts with 6 goals against. He is #2 in the league in that stat. If teams have known that since October, why haven't they scored more? You are talking out of your ass again.

Not every player int eh league can accurately place the puck there...

.769 save percentage, eighth in the league (not counting goalies with less than 3 shootouts). Not bad.
