From AP Wire:
Chicago Bears left guard Ruben Brown was added to the NFC's Pro Bowl roster Thursday as a replacement for injured Philadelphia Eagles guard Shawn Andrews.

This will be the ninth Pro Bowl for Brown and his first since signing with the Bears in April 2004. He was an eight-time selection with the Buffalo Bills between 1995 and 2003.

Andrews suffered a neck injury in the Eagles' second-round playoff loss to New Orleans.

Looks like those who said he was washed up were wrong.
I hope he gets his Superbowl ring.

Ruben was having creative difficulties with OC/OL Coach; he thought they were idiots (same as we thought) and expressed it quite vocally. He sat on bench for last game of year and became a pariah at OBD (Donahoe could not admit Ruben was right without saying that OC/OL Coaches were bad choices).

Not entirely money.

Pro Hall of Fame? Maybe but it will take a while since he is a guard. If Bears win the Superbowl it will help. And players do not go in as members of one team as they do in baseball.

9 Pro Bowls...throw in a SB ring and he will get serious consideration for the HOF.

Ruben is a class act, still grateful for him signing me an autograph years back. I hope he finally gets a ring.

He's not as bad as certain people made him out to be here. I wish we still had him.
