Uh oh..... Falcons deny that the Price deal is done (but it's close)

Contrary to some reports Thursday night, the transaction is not complete, if nearly imminent. "Those are musings," said Falcons chief administrative officer Ray Anderson. "The trade has not been finalized. I'd like to be optimistic and say we hope to make progress [today]."

Actually, plenty of progress was made Thursday, and, somewhat surprisingly, it's the Falcons -- not the Bills -- angling for more.

I think Atlanta is just trying to retain some element of suprise and make the announcment professionally. IMO, after hearing Jonas, I think it's done. I really see no need for JJ or Peerless to lie about any of this.
