Not a pretty performance, but at least they were playing the lowly Bruins and were able to pull out the win.

nothing breaks a slump like a home and home with Boston. The Sabres own those *****es this year.

Power play still looks like **** but maybe the last two will give them some confidence.

He did ok, he doesn't strike me as a fighter, but he got wrecked pretty good.

I thought in the beginning of the fight he was doing great and then kind of petered out (pun intended). At least he showed some toughness and didn't back down. It might have been me but he seemed to play a little meaner after than fight.

Lydman pretty much showed me what a pansy he is. I've seen Boyes play a million times when he was in Erie and he was NOT a fighter. I had to do a double take to make sure it was even Boyes in the fight, and then he kicked Lydman's ass. WTF.

He Nailed Him with a Blind Punch, Ruff was Furious, I'll Look online for highlights of it, but i think he nailed lydman with one after he pulled his jersey over his head.

I was always under the impression that part of hockey fighting was to pull the jersey over the head and keep swinging. Regardless, up until that point I still thought Boyes had kicked his ass.

Agreed- for the first few seconds it was pretty even, but Boyes definitely got the best of him at the end.

Where does it say you can't punch after your jersey is over your head?

and Ruff wasn't furious about the jersey, he did mention that Boyes sucker him before the fight. You are talking out of your ass again.

At least Lydman fought, you have to give him that. He didn't skate away and take Boyes ****. So he is a pansy because he fought when that isn't part of him game? He stepped out of his roled. I give him all credit in the world. So what he lost, he still got his shots in and he showed he has a pair.

At least he fought? Yeah, I guess so. I'm just speaking from personal experience. I know for a fact that Brad Boyes is the complete opposite of a fighter. So now that I'm already doubting the toughness on the team and thinking they need some muscle in the lineup, I see a d-man get the **** beat out of him by a guy who isn't a fighter and who isn't intimidating.
