Vinatieri maybe the player that pushes team to the top

After really thinking about Adam and the pats previous successes, he alone may have been the most important person on the team. His distance and clutch kicking have been almost legendary. In the colts case, he was the player that helped them get over a bad manning day and kicked a bunch of FG's to make sure they we're ahead.

Prepare for Adam to save his teams bacon again.

He is a first balot hall of famer already. Remarkable for a kicker.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

He should be, but it will be interesting to see the vote. There is only 1 "pure" kicker in the HOF (Jan Stenerud, George Blanda played a position as well).

I don't see how he would have made a difference for the Pats this year, unless he could play LB or S.

sounds like sour grapes to me. BTW he goes to another team and they are in the superbowl...where are the pats?

        You know adam is LHAO!
