    He treats us like men?

Is that the new trend in the NFL? We all got to find coaches that treat their players like men? Like men? Compared to what, boys? How do you get a man coach title? Let them watch pornos in their hotel room? That's such a stupid statement. I guarantee every coach in this league attempts to be a disciplinarian.

I'm not saying I am a huge Jauron fan yet.. but I think what they mean is that they don't treat the players like Gregg Williams did. Waking them up at 5 AM with a bull horn at camp.

I think what they mean to say is that the coach treats them with respect, dignity and the belief that a man takes care of his own business... and there won't be any hand holding here.

Obviously a team would like a coach who treats them like men rather than a coach who lies to their face and ditches them after a bad season.

That may not be the best policy for newly minted 20-something's recently come into millions of dollars. Not everyone is Brett Favre in maturity, morals, and mentality.

In fact, the more I see of modern pro athletes, the more and more I think they need professional babysitters.

I think most of the players in the NFL like coaches who treat players like men, but Tom Brady prefers a coach that treats him like a Catholic alter boy.
