anybody still thrilled about having the hardest schedule going into the 2007 season?

Well I can tell you one thing for sure, If we make the playoffs we sure deserve it. The Sabres had a real hard schedule to start the NHL season and they went like 10-0.

I'm glad we don't have the 32nd hardest schedule in the league...I hate to get there again to just lose.

I didn't plan on reaching the SB next year.

I'm just hoping to win 9 and grab the last wild card spot. Then improving a little bit more in 2008, where we could possibly contend.

It's all a guess over the next few months, as out roster will chage drastically before camp.

I still don't want to have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL next year.

What a team is ranked in the regular season doesn't mean much. It's what they do in the post-season. That was NO 32nd-ranked run defense in the playoffs.

You guys pay to much attention to the streng of schedule. I realize that it is being determined based on this past season's winning percentage, but a whole off-season has a way of changing things.
