Forked from: About defense... (http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/showpost.php?postid=1838677)

the 32nd run defense just won the superbowl.

and it was a cover 2.

discuss.

based on the 2005 season.
the team with the 32nd hardest 2006 schedule going into the Super Bowl just lost.
the team with the 22nd hardest 2006 schedule going into the Super Bowl just won.

the team with the 17th hardest 2006 schedule going into the Super Bowl just won.

anybody still thrilled about having the hardest schedule going into the 2007 season?

discuss.

Well I can tell you one thing for sure, If we make the playoffs we sure deserve it. The Sabres had a real hard schedule to start the NHL season and they went like 10-0.

I'm glad we don't have the 32nd hardest schedule in the league...I hate to get there again to just lose.

I didn't plan on reaching the SB next year.

I'm just hoping to win 9 and grab the last wild card spot. Then improving a little bit more in 2008, where we could possibly contend.

It's all a guess over the next few months, as out roster will chage drastically before camp.

I still don't want to have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL next year.

What a team is ranked in the regular season doesn't mean much. It's what they do in the post-season. That was NO 32nd-ranked run defense in the playoffs.

You guys pay to much attention to the streng of schedule. I realize that it is being determined based on this past season's winning percentage, but a whole off-season has a way of changing things.
