Why are we still talking about McGahee and his Toronto dreams?

Are you really going to take the opinion of a guy who got a wonderlic score of 6 seriously?

Must be a boring off-season.

How about we trade McGahee to the Argonauts for some canadian bacon, Molson Triple X and some curling stones, eh?

That actually is not what he said

Willis McGahee has been such a disappointment.

And that's excluding his recent comments to Penthouse, which I thought were somewhat overblown.

Over the last two years, I often found myself asking, "This guy is the reason we stabbed Travis Henry in the back?

Henry ran for nearly 1,400 yards on a broken leg and cracked ribs.

McGahee can't even crack 1,000 with minor injuries.

On top of that, McGahee only averaged 3.8 yards per carry in 2005 and 2006. Which is "mediocre" if you want to be diplomatic about it.

Meanwhile, look at Travis Henry's 2006 stats (13 games started).

1211 yards
4.5 yards per carry
7 touchdowns
9 rushes over 20 yards

It's really frustrating.

Completely agree. We should have kept Henry and had the vaunted "Two-Headed Monster" known as "McHenry".

His comments were taken WAY out of context.

Without debating your other comments, one can't call Willis's cracked ribs minor and praise TH for playing through his.

I reworded that a little in the thread I started.

I meant to say McGahee's injuries were lesser than Henry's.

No, but I wouldn't have traded up into the first round to draft a guy who got a 6 on the wonderlic either!
