Now, you could look at the flip side and pray we land him in round 3

The knock on his coverage ability I've heard before. If true, that would be a problem in the Tampa 2. If not true or even not completely true, I'd take him in a heartbeat in Round 3.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

I can see kinda where Kiper is going, and I think its a knock more on his speed than coverage ability. Pols struggled early with the MLB coverage aspect but picked up late in the season, but he lacks the top end speed to run with the backs and the athletic TEs. I think he's a steal in round 3.

In the Bills defense, why not play a guy like Adam Carriker at DT? If he really is 6'6" then he should be able to bulk up.

Still, from the review above Okoye does seem like a perfect fit for the Bills defense.

It's something to think about. Carriker is slow and may not be as good a pass rusher, but he's a good run stuffer and a good tackler. Can he shed tackles well? Can he command a double team? These are the questions that need to be answered by our FO to know if he'd be effective in our system.

I still like Okoye and hope he's there for us though...Okoye for Anderson is a HUGE upgrade.

Okoye is the type of super hype pick that I would LOVE but the Bills often dont land. They usually go a bit more conservative and take the sure thing. Some teams make big names for themselves drafting guys like this; the boom or bust type. Okoye doesnt have ANY of the issues some of the other more famous sleepers who drop do, but I think age and size are why hes not a sure fire top 5 player. Regardless, Okoye is a big name that will get a TON of press.

Jevon Kearse, Shaun Alexander, Randy Moss are a few of the other big hype players who dropped, you could add Leinhart and Aaron Rodgers to that list too.

I don't think we'd let him pass. He's Bunkley, except even more athletic and without any of the justified concerns with his character. Run defense is a priority, and our ends are fine. Our pick is a DT or a linebacker, I'm guessing. That's how you improve run D, IMO...
Good riddance Fairchild. Of course, the knowledge of your departure will only make TE more hateable than the typical Bills QB. Good luck, hope we don't mess you up like JP.
