Teams to wear white as home color next year

According to WGR it will be for divisional games only.. so we would see the Maple Leafs in their dark blue when they visit and we would wear our white etc.

In contrast if it wasn't posted already, because of the uniform switch next year with Reebok doing everyone's uniform, there will be NO third jersey next year. They will probably come back in 08-09. IM4bflo will love that.

Why does that make anymore sense then the reverse? All you have to base it on is precedents set by other sports. It only "makes sense" because somebody decided to it one way or another at a certain point in time. Personally I don't care who wears what and where.

The way it is now stinks. You see the away team in white and the home team in their color. There is never any change. When the home team wears white, you will see all the other teams colors. Philly's orange, Montreal's Red, Toronto's Blue, etc. I like it that way.

Good point, but our whites are the worst jersey in the league. If we have to wear the slug uniform, I'd take the navy blue one over the white anyday. :ill:

Agreed. I actually like the logo on the ice, because the Word mark makes the slug fit in a lot better. If that was on the jersey, i think it would fill in all the empty space a lot better.

Speaking of white unis, Calgary's are pretty sharp. Simple but with nice trimming and font, and a big logo
