Lets make a deal to get him back. I'm sure it wouldn't cost us that much and he would fit beautifully back on Drury's line. Why not?

He left to be closer to his family, didn't he? I liked Grier, but why bring him back if he doesn't want to be in Buffalo?

Don't forget that he didn't want to be here. He chose the Sharks over the Sabres for the same money.

I thought his wife wanted to be close to California? I loved the guy no doubt but I think that was out of the Sabres hands.

Well we are at least in the top 5 nhl cities for black population arnt we? I think one black man would help out the teams popularity :)

I don't know for sure without looking up the actual numbers, but I would be willing to bet that NYC, LA, Chicago, Miami, Detroit, DC, Dallas are all ahead of us in that category.

i agree, im really like how mcKee isn't working out in st louis........ honestly i really dont know who the sabres should go after, but..... i really wouldnt be surprised to see stafford become a perm fixture for the playoff run... although the few games ive seen him in action against syracuse, he's played horribly
