Yes, it usually takes place in the offseason, mid summer sometime I believe.

It airs usually in mid-July, but its filmed earlier - the location and date varies from year to year.

I always remembered it being shot during Pro Bowl week, but then a couple of years ago it was filmed later on in Ft. Lauderdale..
