The NHL looks set to follow the NFL to London.
Mike Altieri, vice-president of communications for the Los Angeles Kings, has confirmed discussions have taken place about the Californian club possibly playing two regular-season games in the city to start next season.
The Los Angeles Times reports the games would be against opposition yet to be announced at the 02 Arena - formerly the Millennium Dome.
The arena is being built by AEG, the company who also own the Kings franchise and the Staples Center where the team plays in Los Angeles.
