Connolly will be able to continue swimming, but is prohibited from training on the ice. It is thought that his intense exercise schedule is responsible for the injury.

That's good, he can work in the pool to get his wind back.

at least it isn't concussion related. That would have really hurt.

Man, if he's getting hurt while working out to get ready to play again this year, then what is going to happen when a defensman lines him up along the boards? Not a good sign. This team needs more toughness.

Umm, No surprise Here, You don't work out for a nearly a year and then start riding bikes and skating hard your gonna get a minor stress fracture ..

These are common in rehab type workouts,rest usually does the trick and other workouts prescribed.
