Max Out MINIMUM 6 Weeks with broken wrist,

Novotny out day to day to week to week re injuring his ankle

As long as he's back for the playoffs, I'm relieved.

If he's out until the playoffs, that is actually a good thing for Buffalo because it frees up his salary for the Sabres to make a trade. Max can then come back in the playoffs (no sooner) and it won't count against the cap.

Does any else feel as though we're cursed. Connolly, Spacek, now Max? Let's hope we're getting the injuries out of the way NOW as opposed to the playoffs.

they only free up money if he goes on long term IR...there are other implications if they make that move...further it would only free up the prorated amount of his salary...3/4 of the season have been played so it would only free up 1/4 of his salary...not alot of money.

im not worried... he'll be back for the playoffs.

we've got the division wrapped up... so we're a top 3 seed.

we'll probably take no.1 in the conference (NJ will cool off)

Get worried if this injury parade happens in the playoffs.
