All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
By saying we're going to spend cash to the cap, but we are not going to spend cash past the cap Maybe im just tired but doesn't that seem like contradiction. Of course your not going spend more then the cap.
I feel depressed. Marv doesn't seem to know anything about the cap, salaries, how much we are going to spend, what's available, what to look for and all that stuff. This is pretty bad. Marv seems to be like a fan who knows some stuff about the players on the team and that's it.

We like our receiving core and don't feel that we need to go for another in free agency. We might draft one, but we'll know about that when we get there......

He has said more than once that O-line and run defense are the top areas targeted for improvement.
Anyone else get the feeling that we have wayyy too many cooks in the kitchen? Marv keeps talking about all these guys that do stuff and he doesn't seem to know much about what they are all doing.
I also am coming to the conclusion that we will probably sign a few cheap guys in free agency, and will have $20 million under the cap left.

Sounds good to me.
I'm happy with that, it's about time that someone realizes that the offensive line has problems and is a number 1 need. I also feel that he will be signing a replacement to Fletcher in FA. He basically stated that Fletcher-Baker was not a good fit in the defense and part of the reason that the run d struggled.
