here we go again another kid coming up from Rochester. Kotalik has a lower body injury. Please Sabres call up Kaletta, give the local kid who was born in Buffalo and grew up in Angola, NY and rooted for the Sabres his life a chance. He is the nicest kid off the ice but he's a pain to play against and he will give other teams fits and make the other teams take penalties. He plays just like Mathew Barnaby did when he was here. My cousin was a Sophomore for Canisus high school and Kaletta was a Junior in High School when he played for Angola.

guys, w/o gaustad we are now officially a soft hockey team. we need someone who can skate into the corners and put some guys on their asses. if we dont get a bruiser it doesnt matter how many skilled highly talented players we have, they're all guna get pussed around. we need someone who will keep the opposite team honest and not think this is disney on ice with all of our fancy skating.

does it matter...at some point the Rochester Sabres are not going to beat NJ, Ottawa or Pittsburgh in a 7 game series...better hope the regulars get back ASAP.

let's hope...even so there is no guarentee that these guys don't have injuries that will put them out longer, linger - making them less than 90% or be reaggrivated with the softest of hits...
the team isn't going to say anything regarding the length or severity of the injuries - nor should they. For all we know Max, Kotalik and Spacek could be out for the year.

with the injury maxim has, you should treat it as "season ending" just on the emphasis of he will be gone for at least 6-8 weeks.......
as far as calling up kaleta, that'd be a dumb move, yeah he may bring some aggression, but he is no where's near an NHL standard right now..... he was barely containing one of the worst teams in the AHL - syracuse..... much less take on the NE division.....
if anyone will get brought up, im seriously thinking they would take michael ryan, if they dont end up making a trade.......
secondly, you know how in the AHL they have clear day...... what would happen if say the amerks receive a player from lets say in this case syracuse........ can buffalo call them up? or are they still property of their previous team in regards to callups?
