Levy's Friday conference fruitless at best

Our Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code 'USBETCZR' offers all new players at Caesars Sportsbook online sportsbook and mobile app up to $1,100 as first-bet insurance.

I try to stay positive around here when I can, but a lot of what this article (and many around here) said is pretty spot on. I don't get the advantage of claiming you don't know about the McGahee comments if you really did, or of not knowing the compensation for someone who is franchised, or of the seemingly obvious contradiction of keeping your own while saying we may have to let our own go, or of claiming not to know how the SALARY CAP works (I'd love to hear that as an agent interested in doing business with the Bills though)... these are big bright red flags. Even if Marv is just a figurehead who personifies the philosophy of what we're all about and little more, he still is the figurehead. What players/agents think of the front office will definitely play a part in whether or not they want to be here.

With that said, I don't have a problem with cash to cap. It isn't ideal, but its no surprise that this is how things are going to work around here. I also realize that the players who were a part of the product on the field (Jauron's team if you will) have been saying, for the most part, pretty positive things that improve our image. My point is that some of these comments cannot do anything but harm to us as we try to get back to the elite of the NFL. I can't look at this one through rose-colored glasses.

The press conference was stupid. No news is good news.

Maybe the thought process was that TD never communicated anything with the public and it pissed people off. Think about how much more refreshing Jauron's press conferences are vs. Mularkey or Gregg Williams. However, there was nothing positive that came out of it. Nothing. Were we supposed to get excited about there economic decision? It just shouldn't have happened.

With that said we will have a great draft and there will be so many Marv "nut huggers" around here that people will forget all about this.

The advantage is avoiding a media circus but not knowing the comments. If he acknowledges the comments at the PC then all the questions will be about that. It was smart to play dumb about the comments.

I guess if this was the only thing he played dumb about I'd say OK, but when its part of a collection of perceived dumbness (making up words here), it comes off as a bit unnerving.

I was going to go outside today, but I'm afraid of that damned sky smacking me right in the head.

            Watch out! Here it comes!
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
