    What a terrible move. This bodes well for all the other teams in the AFC.

      Jesus what a horrible hire, give a newbie a shot like Ryan from BAL, Singletary from SF, or the OC from USC. But why in gods name did they hire Norv Turner?!

        more importantly why fire Schotty to hire Turner?

        They would have been better off playing one more year with Schotty then looking for a new coach next year. Now they are gonna be stuck with Turner for at least 2 years.

          Well, there goes that franchise. Although the Chargers have enough talent right now that even Turner may not be able to screw them up for a few years.
          Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

              SD already has the best player in football playing RB. Throw in the best TE, a good QB and you can understand why they went with an Offensive mind.

              It makes sense. Look how San Fran improved dramitically on Offense last year.

                SD doesn't need to improve its offense that's the point.

                Their defense needs tweaking.

                Not gonna happen with an entirely new coaching staff lead by Turner.

                      Turner is a decent OC but a bad HC. SD might just have enough talent to overcome that though.
