Joe Pendry.

Nick Saban just hired him as an OL Coach/Asst. HC at Alabama.

I'm no clairvoyant, but I can only see the chargers regressing with norv turner as head coach. What a disaster. I would rather have seen Cotrell as head coach.

If there ever was a situation for Norv to succeed, this is it. San Diego's potent offense is already running the same system Turner installed when he was their OC in 2001.

Cotrell runs the same defense that Wade Phillips ran.

I'm glad for Teddy, but it's too bad that with all of the morons being given head coaching jobs over the last few years (Gregg Williams and Mularkey, to mention just two of our favorites), that he never got that opportunity.

Ted Cottrell lost any serious look at him being a head coach with his parting remark at Buffalo. No GM wants to sign a HC coach who when loses a competition for HC takes shots at management and owner. A bone headed career move IMO.
