All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
12. Levi Brown, T, Penn State -- They need to improve their offensive line, and Brown can play left tackle, which would allow them to move Jason Peters back to right tackle.
I think it was Jerry Sullivan of the Buffalo News in a column quite a while ago who was promoting the same thing, maybe not Brown specifically (I can't remember), but drafting a stud LT to allow us to move Peters back to RT.
I don't agree with that approach, however.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Because I think Jason Peters has a clause in his contract that says he has to get a new position every 8 games. He already spent half a season at LT- that's good enough.
He's wrong about Peter's moving to LT. But I wouldn't be totally against this pick. It would give the Bills bookend tackles for years to come.
It would be nice to have OL be a strength on this team instead of the weakness it has been since the Super Bowl years.
I'm pretty sure that if Levi Brown is there that the Bills will take him and place him at RT. Just a gut feeling. The love for Pennington isn't exuding out of OBD like it is on this website.

I wouldn't be surprised. Marv has said on numerous occasions that OBD has identified the OL as their primary area of need.
If we drafted Brown, and signed Dockery or Dielman, offensive line could very quickly become a strength of this team.
I'm still leaning towards defense with our first pick though. DT or DE or LB.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

RB next! Who needs speed when you can just bulldoze people over?

But why draft a LT just to move him to RT? It's just buying a brand new left hand drive SUV and spend money to convert it into a right hand drive mail truck. Why not just draft a RT?
