Amen, but keep in mind its good that we have a back up goaltender who is sitting on the bench, because it would be a bad idea to trade him. So we'll just continue to play with our 2 goalies. Darcy is having card board cut ups of players made up so our bench doesn't look empty.

They have to do something now.

Biron has to go. This team needs to get a few more proven bodies in here to help with the Cup run. You don't get this chance to often, so you better take advantage of it. Go get some difference makers, Darcy!

he said 2 to 3 weeks on paille. Look at it this way guys...these people can't get injured while they are on the mend. We are going to be healthy come playoff time (including connely) and in the interim the backups are getting some valuable play time. Things aren't as bleak as they seem IMO. The only way to trade Biron is to a team that needs a rent a goalie...proably not going to find anything worth it.

Biron is useless right now unless he starts playing forward.

I am not as concerned with right now as I am with 7 weeks form now.

Who do we trade Marty to? For what? Who becomes the back-up goalie?

and if miller gets hurt for the playoffs and we have some ****ty backup to rely on, what will you guys be saying about the biron trade?

we are solid right now. we will be fine before the playoffs. playoffs about 50 days away.. we'll get at least 3 players back
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.

Then you would be like 31 other teams who would be screwed if the lost their top goalie. We are anything but solid right now, and it just got worse again. Six weeks is along time and alot of games, there is no promises your going to get all these players back without set backs. Millers healthy and sure as hell should be rested, Broduer can play more then three games without needed a break, Millers the number one goalie lets stop worrying about him, and worry about the 6 starters, and one of their replacements being hurt. These are broken bones people, and ankle injuries which are almost as bad. These arent minor bumps and bruises. You people need to get your heads out of your arse if you think they should stand pat. Their depth is tapped out, Peters and Mair aren't going to score for you every night. Congrates we beat the crapiest team in the league, things get worse from here. Just wait till we play a team like Ottawa that has four lines that can hurt you. Or a team that can shut down your top lines, The more you have to double shift drury, Briere, and the other regulars the odds will go up that they could get hurt too. By the time the playoffs start your starters will be burnt, and your injuries who return are going to be out shape and at risk of hurting themselves more.

Didn't Connelly fracture a bone while on the mend?

Why would we want Gary Roberts? He is like 42 years old and slow. He would be able to keep up with our young guns. I'd pass.

I think typo isn't too far off. The Sabres could throw out the Amerks(which they pretty have) and clinch a playoff spot. We SHOULD be just about 100 percent for the playoffs. Just hope there is time to get in game playing shape before they actually start.

                              Sabres+motivation+healthy+rest = Sabres wins.
